Operation
How to open the instrument?
| Step 1 | The box incorporates a Detachable lid. Open and remove the lid, before opening the locks.
Note: Horizontal position must be maintained while opening the box. | | Step 2 | Hold the two notches on any side to pull the instrument in upward direction.
Note: The locks that are foldable can be set automatically. |
All necessary cautions must be taken before operating the harmonium.
Instructions to change the scale
| Step 1 | Press the 'changing knob' extremely to downward direction and then slide to left/right from the fifth position, as required. Note: "C" is the standard position in the scale display. | | Step 2 | There is a 'scale display label' to guide correct positioning the 'changing know'. The user can set the 'indicator needle' in the required scale. |
Instructions for playing harmonium
| Step 1 | Open the bellow closing device, followed by pushing & drawing it to allow the intake of air. | | Step 2 | Press the keyboard to play the harmonium.
Note: Bellowing process must be continued throughout the play. |
Instructions to close harmonium:
| Step 1 | Start by closing the bellow. | | Step 2 | Push back all 'coupling knobs', that are pulled. | | Step 3 | Press the two 2 collapsible locks and gradually release the instrument. | | Step 4 | The clamps of the harmonium must be fixed at the back side, to allow easy fit of the lid. Use 'locking device' at the front side to lock the device. |
Cautions
- At the time of transporting the harmonium, it is advised to keep the scale changing knob at the "extreme right position".
- Keep in mind to keep the harmonium or any other instrument away from direct/indirect sunlight. Keep it at cool, dry place.
- Do not use any kind of chemical or pesticide like Naphthalene or others while packing the harmonium or any other musical instrument.
- The two catches at the top of the lever must be kept in tight condition.
- When folding this musical instrument, close the bellow every time.
- Always keep the white knobs in open state.
Product Handling & Self Services
- In case of odd or unwanted sound, analyze the standing note to find out the problem.
- If notes are not causing the odd or unwanted sound, analyze the lever part. If there is any dislocated spring, set it in position making use of device provided with the harmonium.
- If you can not find the cause of odd or unwanted sound, then recommend the harmonium to professional mechanical inspection.
